Curious Squirrel

curious squirrel 006 upload, originally uploaded by mcn2zst.

I just got a new telephoto zoom lens, the Tamron 200-500, and I found this cooperative squirrel in the park to help me test it out. You can see additional poses at this link:

Website Construction

I am in the process of developing a website for publishing my photographs and other projects. I have added the link to the site here. The web address for "The Voice of the Camera" website is www.cameravox.com. I hope to continue to improve my coordination of the website and this blog together with links to other sites that feature my work. Bear with me as I develop these web tools, and enjoy you visit.

Voice of the Camera 2007 Calendar

My inaugural effort at sharing my photography on-line is this weblog, which I am calling "Voice of the Camera". I have combined the launch of this 'blog with publication of the limited edition 2007 Voice of the Camera calendar. If you received the link to this weblog in an email from me on December 10, 2006, then I have sent you a calendar. If you have not received your copy yet, take heart, it is on its way and will arrive soon!

Why a calendar? Let's face it....everyone has an unsightly crack or stain on a wall somewhere in their home or office (or cubicle!): why not cover yours up with my beautiful calendar? Think of all the money you will save on spackle and paint!

You can see most of the photos from the calendar by clicking on the link below, which will take you to a slideshow of the photos at the "Flickr.com" website. These photos look pretty good in the calendar, but they are really stunning as prints. If there is a particular shot that you would like to have as a framed print, just let me know, it's yours for the asking! I have 16x20 framed prints (image size approx. 11x16), which is a nice size for viewing them in person. Email me at
joelhenner@comcast.net. I assure you the prints of these images are crisp and clean. Everyone knows I am my own toughest critic, so you can be confident in this assessment.

Please leave a comment at this 'blog by clicking on "post a comment", below...your input is most appreciated!

Stay tuned for future posts of my work. Be sure to bookmark this page if you want to check out future postings of my work. Feel free to forward the link to this 'blog to anyone you think might be interested.
